All the best for the new year

The New Year is here, so Happy New Year everyone! I spent the evening rather quietly; I worked till 10pm, then went home and relaxed by the fire with the dog. The parents came back from dinner, and we all toasted the new year in with a glass of champagne. Pretty quiet, all in all.

But with the new year comes a new semester, and I must go and pack for the trip back up the island.
